foundation repair auger piers

Helical piers can be used in all aspects of home building and repair, from shoring up decks to supporting a whole house. Helical Piers are ideally utilized to support building foundations in areas with soft, weak, shallow or poorly compacted soils. Helicals are not suitable for installation where sinkholes or sinkhole activity is determined to be the cause of the foundation failure.

Helicals usually have 1-3 blade features. The blades for residential stabilization are typically 8”-12” in diameter. The shaft extensions are bolted or screwed together to allow sufficient torque drive for installation at a pre-determined depth.

Pre-Construction

In addition to residential home support, helicals are often installed preconstruction in order to prevent any future settlement issues.

Equipment

The helical is driven with precision equipment to achieve the geotechnical engineers recommendation.
